One person had to be rescued following a crash on the A19 this morning (Monday).
It happened on York Road, south of Thirsk, at 8.28am.
Emergency services, including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and fire crews from Thirsk, Northallerton and Ripon went to the collision.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One casualty was trapped inside their vehicle and crews assisted paramedics with removing the casualty to the road ambulance for transport.
“Other occupants of the vehicles involved suffered minor injuries and were also medically checked by paramedics.
“All fire crews made the affected vehicles safe and cooled the engine of one vehicle using a hose reel jet for precautionary reasons. The incident was left with police.”
The road was closed for some time as the incident was dealt with.
