‘One of the best days out ever’: York family attraction wins national award

Congratulations have been flooding in after a hugely popular York attraction won national acclaim.

York Maze has been named Best Farm Attraction in the UK 2023.

Tom and Lisa Pearcy, who run the Maze, said: “We’re cornpletely blown away to win!

“We join an elite list of previous winners of this most highly regarded award. Thanks to our amazing team who wowed the judges with their excellent customer service.”

They were named the winners at the National Farm Attractions Network Awards.

The win saw people queuing up to add their praise to the maze, based off Elvington Lane.

“We visited a couple years ago and was one of the best days out we have had. You deserve more to be honest,” said Mark White on Facebook.

“Absolutely deserved, I have brought family, beavers, cubs, scouts and a whole group camp over many visits, and every time has been an experience to remember,” said Paul Lukeman.

“Best attraction with the absolutely best staff I have had the pleasure of encountering.”

And Julie Blackburn put it simply: “You are the best attraction ever!”
