A man has was seriously assaulted in Selby yesterday afternoon.
The assault took place between 1.15pm and 1.45pm on Sunday (22 December), under the arch way between Garden Court and The Chimes.
It involved a man being assaulted by another man, who swiped his feet from under him and stamped on his head several times.
Location
The suspect then left the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following the assault, or any relevant CCTV footage.
They’re particularly appealing for information about a white man, in his early 20’s, approximately 5’5ft and of a slim build.
He’s described as having short brown hair, wearing a dark puffer jacket, and black Adidas tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down each leg.
