Have you ever wanted to spend the night in a helicopter? Probably not, but now you can – with style!
Described as a ‘glamping game changer’, Pinewood Park in Scarborough is the only park in the UK to offer ‘glamping’ in a SeaKing Rescue Helicopter.
These bright yellow helicopters were designed for performing anti-submarine warfare missions, and now the three on-site at the park have been transformed into the perfect mini getaway.

The ‘surprisingly spacious’ helicopters on-site include one used in the Falkland Islands and one flown by Prince William.
The helicopter-turned-glamping-pods can sleep up to five, and feature facilities such as a double bed, bunk beds, fridge, microwave and decking area.
It’s the perfect getaway for the aviation lover in your life, as each chopper has the original cockpit – complete with all the authentic switches, dials, and levers.
But before you get any ideas about super quick day trips, they won’t lift off any more!
