A new store is due to open in York city centre later this month.
Described as a pioneering sports brand, INOV8 is coming to High Ousegate.
The long-empty unit, which was previously a branch of Costa Coffee, is being converted into the shop ready to open on Friday 15 March.
The store will stock a large collection of INOV8 running, hiking and fitness gear. This ranges from award-winning trail running shoes and hiking boots, through to weightlifting shoes and hiking backpacks.
And the in-store coffee shop is the place “to grab a coffee after your run, hike or workout” according to the website.
Special events, including guided runs/hikes and speaker evenings, are also planned at the store.

INOV8 was founded in the Lake District in 2003 by Wayne Edy.
It aims to provide clothing and equipment for “committed trail and off-road runners, fitness athletes and adventure-seeking hikers who push boundaries and stretch limits”.
The York store will be the sixth in the chain, and follows hard on the heels of the opening of a store in Sheffield.
