A York city centre pub is going to get a rebrand.
The Last Drop Inn on Colliergate has been in its red livery since it first opened more than 20 years ago.
That was when it became the York Brewery’s first pub.
But a lot has changed since then. York Brewery went into administration in December 2018, only to be snapped up by Black Sheep Brewery.
It moved the brewing operation from Toft Green to its Masham HQ but kept the pubs.
The Last Drop was closed for most of last year due to the lockdowns, but was reopened as a Black Sheep bottle shop in October.
Now the pub is going to get a complete black and grey makeover, to match its owners colours.
Plans show that the brewery’s name painted between the first and second floors, with distinctive black window frames and sills and a colourful green door.
