Fancy a burger?
Well, you can enjoy a free Burger King Whopper as the fast food chain celebrates its new restaurant opening in York.
It has now opened at Monks Cross in York, and is giving away 1,000 Whoppers – or Plant-Based Whoppers – to hungry diners.
The iconic burgers are being given away as part of a one-of-a-kind “Whopper Wednesday” deal.
This deal is on a first-come-first-served based, and available exclusively to Burger King app users on 29 March 2023 only at the Monks Cross restaurant.
To get in on the action, guests will need to head to this website to retrieve a code, and then simply show the code to staff at the counter to claim a free Whopper.
The restaurant app now includes the ‘Your Burger King’ loyalty programme. All customers that register will automatically be awarded 200 points – which Burger King says “is enough to claim a cheeseburger, or fries without needing to spend a penny”.
Alasdair Murdoch, CEO of Burger King UK, said: “We know the people of York love the great-tasting food of Burger King, so we’ve listened to their requests and are very excited to bring all their favourites to their neighbourhood.
“Our home – of the Whopper! – is their home.”
