Fancy looking out of your window and seeing this?
New apartments in York are claimed to offer the ‘best views in York city centre’, and soon you can judge for yourself.
Once home to offices, Ryedale House has been transformed into the tallest residential building in the city.
And a show apartment in the block will be opened for the first time on Saturday 19 October – the first opportunity to go up into the building since work began last year.
According to developers Newby, the sixth-floor apartment offers panoramic views of York, including the Minster.
Floor to ceiling glazing, is a feature across the whole building, maximises future residents’ opportunities to take in the view.
Prices start at £250K
Set on Piccadilly in York city centre, alongside the River Foss, Ryedale House will be home to 77 one, two and three-bedroom luxury apartments over seven floors.
All apartments feature open plan living areas and a high specification finish, including Vessini bathrooms and bespoke kitchens with NEFF appliances.
The building will also feature a hotel-style lobby with concierge, secure parking, lifts to all floors, cycle stores and generous storage lockers.
Prices range from £250,000 to £1.25 million and is due for completion in June 2020.

We’re really excited to be able to take people into the building for the first time and many people have been so eager to see the breathtaking views from Ryedale House across York for themselves.
It’s no surprise it’s been called the best view in York, as apartments enjoy multi-aspect vistas across York’s historic centre.
The show apartment will be open from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 19th October and appointments can be made by contacting Savills on 01904 593 551. Viewings on later dates can be made by appointment in advance.
