This young lady is on the fast track to a new family.
The soon-to-be Mother Goose has chosen to lay her egg slap bang in the middle of the entrance to York Station.
Normally thronging with commuters and holidaymakers, the railway station has far fewer travellers these days.
Which makes it a nice quiet spot for a goose to bring up her brood.
The pictures were taken by PCSO Ridley and shared by British Transport Police and share on their Twitter account.
They wrote: “This afternoon PCSO Ridley was on patrol at York Train Station when he noticed this goose had laid an egg amongst the flowers in the normally extremely busy main entrance. Amazing.
“Thank you to all those who continue to support our NHS heroes in obeying the lockdown.”
