Music, dance and fun things for kids – it’s the free five-day Riverside Festival

Tower Gardens at Skeldergate Bridge, York
Wed July 27 to Sun July 31 @ 11am-11pm
Free
Featuring music, dance, theatre, puppetry, lots for kids, lovely food and a real ale bar, it’s a real family event – and free!
The barge – Selby Tony – is now in Foss Basin awaiting planning permission for a permanent city centre mooring, and conversion to a fully accessible community arts and culture venue.
Come down and let us know what kinds of things you would like to be doing on the York Arts Barge when it’s up and running as a venue.
If you’d like to volunteer to help out at Riverside – we’re looking for pint-pullers, cake makers, tune-fiddlers and all sorts – if you’ve got time or skills to offer please get in touch with [email protected] and she’ll rope you in!
See you down by the riverside!
