Police have revealed the identity of the man who died after being attacked in a village near Snaith.
As we reported earlier, officers from Humberside Police were called to reports of an injured man at a property on Little London Lane, West Cowick, Snaith at 7.15pm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but sadly he died shortly afterwards.

This evening, police named the man as Paul Hanson, aged 54. They say he had sustained a fatal stab wound.
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “A woman, aged 53 was arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in police custody whilst we continue with lines of enquiry.
“Paul’s family continue to be supported by specialist trained officers and have asked for privacy at this time.”
