Drivers are being asked to avoid the scene of a multi-vehicle accident in Ryedale this evening (Friday).
Emergency services are at the scene of the collision on the A170 just outside of Pickering.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Currently the road is closed outside of the Middleton Service Station.
“Please avoid this area where possible and be prepared for delays in the area.”
