A man was punched and robbed in an attack close to York Minster on Saturday night (November 14)
The victim, who is 25, was approached by a man, punched and made to hand over a quantity of cash and a Rolex watch.
He was not seriously injured.
The robbery took place on Duncombe Place, by the postbox next to the taxi rank, just before 10pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses. The area would have been busy with members of the public.
