More storms could hit York and much of North Yorkshire today.
The Met Office this morning issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms covering much of the north of England.
It runs from 2pm to 7pm today (Tuesday, 28 May), and covers all but the far north and east of the county.

“Thunderstorms may bring torrential downpours causing travel disruption and, in places, flooding,” the Met Office says.
It follows the storms at the weekend which saw one house at Holme-on-Spalding-Moor struck by lightning and burst into flames.
More rain is predicted for the next couple of days with a drier weekend ahead.
