We revealed back in January that TGI Fridays had become the first restaurant to sign up for York Community Stadium.
Now it has applied for an alcohol licence for when it opens next year.
According to that application lodged with City of York Council, the chain wants to open from 10am to 12.30am daily.
And it has applied to serve alcohol from 10am to midnight.
TGI Fridays will occupy the corner unit underneath the cinema. Artists impressions of the development show it next to the existing Giraffe restaurant at Vangarde.
The US chain, which began in New York in 1965, is best known for its grilled menu, including ribs and chicken wings basted in a Jack Daniels glaze.
It also serves a range of cocktails, from classics like mojitos and margaritas to fruitier numbers like the Silver Mercedes (Stolichnaya premium vodka, cranberry juice and orange sherbet poured over Prosecco).
There will be a total of five restaurants at the stadium complex.
