A moped has been destroyed after being set on fire in a York park.
Firefighters were called to Hull Road Park, Tang Hall at 10.21pm last night (Friday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “York crews attended a moped set on fire in the park.

“The moped was destroyed by fire. Fire was started deliberately. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.”
There was a deliberate fire started in another part of York last night too.
Lower Ebor Street, York
Firefighters were called to Lower Ebor Street at 7.04pm after a pile of rubbish was set alight in an alleyway.
On their arrival the fire had died out and the crew carried out an inspection only.
