Melee in McDonald’s: Police investigate fast food free-for-all

Police have issued a CCTV image of someone they want to talk to after a melee in a North Yorkshire fast food restaurant.

It happened at McDonald’s on York Road, Thirsk, at 2.35am on Saturday 30 December.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Around 20 people are reported to have thrown items around inside the restaurant causing both mess and criminal damage.

“Please get in touch if you recognise the person in the image as they may have information that will help the investigation.”
