A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was attacked in York city centre.
The victim was assaulted by another man on Little Stonegate, causing him to fall to the ground.
It happened at around 1am on Sunday (2 August) outside Turtle Bay restaurant and bar.
The victim sustained bruising to his face and a fractured elbow. He has since been released from hospital.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
