A man had to be taken to hospital after being attacked by a cyclist today (Thursday).
It happened at Clifton Backies Nature Reserve on Water Lane around 10.30am.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted by a man who was riding a bike.

The suspect is described as
- white
- slim
- aged in his mid 20s
- and wearing a grey/dark tracksuit.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Following on from the incident, the victim required treatment at hospital.
“We’re particularly appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and speak to us.”
