A man has been rescued from the River Foss.
Police, paramedics and fire crews from York, Acomb and Huntington were part of the rescue operation, which used throw lines and ladders.
York Rescue Boat was also called out.

The man was in the river close to Castle car park. The alarm was raised at 3.18am today (Thursday).
A spokesperson from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: “We received a call to reports of a person in the River Foss in York at 3:16am on Thursday 12 December 2019.
Two emergency ambulances and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene and the patient has been taken by ambulance to York Hospital.”
