A young man was punched unconscious inside McDonald’s in York.
The victim, aged 20, had to be taken to hospital after the attack, which happened at around 5am on Thursday, December 21.
Now officers investigating the assault have released images of a man they want to speak to about the incident.
The 20-year-old man was in McDonald’s in Blake Street with his mother when a man approached him and began talking to him.

He then punched the victim in the face, knocking him unconscious. He regained consciousness and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The offender ran off towards St Sampson’s Square.
Police would like to speak to a man pictured by CCTV as part of their investigation.
