Officers investigating a hate crime at York station have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Do you recognise this man?
At just before 8.30pm on Saturday 9 October, the victim walked by a group of men in the station’s concourse.
As he did so, one of the men made a homophobic comment towards him.
Details have only just been released.
The victim challenged the man, who responded by punching the victim in the face, causing him to lose consciousness and hit his head on the floor as he fell.
The man then left the station while the other members of his group boarded a train.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
