A man has been taken to hospital after being found lying in a York road.
The man was spotted by a fire crew on Fishergate at about 8.30pm on Friday (22 November).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson: “Crews found he had been knocked over by a passing vehicle and they quickly began assessing him for any injuires using their trauma pack.”
Firefighters waited with the man until the arrival of the ambulance which took him to hospital.
