Man cut free from wreckage and airlifted to hospital after three-vehicle crash
A man was airlifted to hospital this afternoon (Monday) after a crash between two cars and a lorry in North Yorkshire.
As YorkMix reported earlier, emergency services were called to the A170 at Brompton by Sawdon, west of Scarborough, at 3.32pm.
Fire crews from Malton and Scarborough went to the scene.

The collision left one man trapped in his vehicle.
Firefighters cut the roof off to free him. He was then taken to hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Police asked drivers to avoid the road while they worked at the scene.
