Firefighters rescued a man trapped in wreckage after a two-car crash this afternoon (Thursday, 9 November).
Selby, Tadcaster and Goole fire crews, along with police and paramedics, were called to the collision in Hemingbrough at 2.12pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Fire and rescue crews used cutting equipment to release one male casualty trapped inside a vehicle.
“The casualty was handed over to paramedics and taken to hospital via road ambulance. The incident was then left with police.”
