A man had to be cut free by firefighters after his car crashed at one of North Yorkshire’s best-known beauty spots.
Emergency services were called at 7.46pm yesterday (Sunday) after the car left the road on the A169 at the Hole of Horcum.
Fire crews from Whitby and Pickering, along with a crew from Fylingdales, went to the scene.
One man was extricated from the vehicle by crews using hydraulic cutting equipment and taken to hospital by ambulance.
