Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in the car park of a York supermarket.
It happened at 2.35pm on Saturday 17 April at Morrisons on Foss Islands Road, and involved a man assaulting another man by kicking him.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the suspect.”
He is described as
- white
- in his mid to late 30s
- tall and slim
- with a number of moles on his face
- and short dark hair with a receding hair line.
He spoke with a southern accent. He was wearing a grey hoodie without zips and blue/grey bootleg style jeans.
The man got out of a silver four-door Ford Focus that had alloy wheels. After the assault he got back in the vehicle and drove off.
