Two people were taken to hospital after a fight in a York suburb.
Neighbours in Hamilton Drive West, Acomb, said around eight police vehicles were called to the street in the early hours of Sunday, 16 April.
A police dog unit and two ambulances also attended.
They had been called after a ‘loud and chaotic’ altercation, said a witness.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Two men have been arrested following an incident on Hamilton Drive West in York.
“Officers were called to the location at around 12.30am on Sunday, 16 April following reports of an altercation between two groups of people.
“A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
“They were both released on police bail while the investigation continues.”
Two people, teenage man and a man in his 40s, required hospital treatment “to injuries sustained during the incident”.
Both have since been released from hospital.
