A man has been arrested after an attack in a York nightclub.
It happened at Popworld on George Hudson Street at about 12.05am on Saturday (25 March).
A 25-year-old man was left with a broken nose after being attacked in the club.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “After receiving treatment at hospital the victim was discharged but will undergo further treatment at a later date.
“A 26-year-old man was arrested a short time later and has been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
“Anyone who can assist with the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.”
Police don’t believe this incident is connected to another assault that took place close to Popworld over the weekend.
