A man was attacked on a York street on Sunday evening.
He was assaulted on Nunnery Lane between 6.40pm and 7pm on Sunday 8 January.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, they are appealing for information on who was responsible for the attack, anybody who witnessed the incident, or the circumstances leading to up to it.”
One man has been arrested in connection with the assault, and released on bail while the police continue their enquiries.
