Police are investigating after a man was seen acting in an indecent manner in the grounds of Scarborough Castle.
The incident took place at around 4.30 to 5.30pm yesterday (Monday) at the Royal Albert Park.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “This was a busy day and there were many families with children in the park at the time.”
Officers are appealing for information from anybody who saw a man acting suspiciously in this area at this time.
The suspect is described as
- white
- aged around 30 to 40-years-old
- of medium build
- with short brown hair, and
- not wearing a top.
A man has been arrested and released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
