A man and a woman were involved in an assault in York.
Police are investigating the incident, which happened at around 8.30pm on Sunday (24 May) on the cycle track which runs along Acorn Rugby Club, Thanet Road in York.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “The incident involved a man and a woman in their 20s and we are appealing to anyone who can help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident to come forward.”
No further information has been disclosed.
