Police are hunting a man and a woman who attacked a York cyclist at the weekend.
It happened on Lead Mill Lane, off Piccadilly, at around 6.40pm on Saturday (24 August).
The victim, a man in his forties, was riding his bike when he was assaulted by the couple.

He suffered serious head injuries during the assault. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
The attackers are believed to have travelled to and from the area in a white vehicle.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing to anyone walking in the area at the time and motorists, who saw the assault, the cyclist, the suspects or a white vehicle, or has captured the incident on dashcam, to get in touch.
“Along with anyone else who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
