A 68-year-old man was hurt in an unprovoked attack at a bus stop in York.
The man was sitting at a bus stop on Burton Stone Lane at around 10pm on Wednesday (May 2) when three male youths assaulted him.
The victim suffered minor cuts to his head and face. His glasses were also broken.
Enquires are ongoing to trace the three youths involved.
Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, they are appealing for information about any sightings of three male youths, aged between 14 to 18 years, dressed in mainly dark clothing.
