A 32-year-old man has been found dead at a house in York.
Police were called to a property on Burton Green at around 6.50am on Sunday (December 6) where Gary ‘Eddie’ Illingworth was found deceased.
Officers are treating his death as unexplained.
They are carrying out an investigation to determine how he died and the circumstances that led to his death.
As part of those enquiries, detectives are appealing to anyone to contact them who may have seen or heard from Mr Illingworth between 11.45pm on Saturday December 5 and 6.40am Sunday December 6.
Police also want to locate a bicycle that Mr Illingworth uses.
It is described as a silver coloured, ladies mountain bike. If you have found a discarded bike or know where the cycle is, please contact the police.
