Malton’s food market is back
Yorkshire’s foodies can once again sample the delights of the Malton Monthly Food Market, which returns this Saturday, 8th May.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of Malton’s St Michael’s Church, the Monthly Food Market will be trading from 9am to 3pm for a range of treats and indulgences.
Health and safety measures will be of paramount importance and with this in mind, there will be fewer vendors to ensure social distancing guidelines can be met. Visitors will still be able to enjoy 30+ market stalls with wares and fares from YO Bakehouse, Ryan Jepson Cheeses, The Blessed Olive, La Foccacia and more.
Government guidelines will be implemented for those shopping at the market to ensure maximum safety for both visitors and vendors.
These include access to free hand sanitiser at the market entrance, temporary barriers in place to aid social distancing and contactless payments being made available where possible.
As with previous events, the Monthly Food Market will be open-air, one-way, socially distanced and safe.
