Malton DJ set to entertain late night Christmas shoppers

Local DJ and presenter Ryan Swain will be playing music to entertain shoppers in Malton this Christmas.

He will be helping set the Christmas mood with the Salvation Army on Saturday nights from 12th December as Malton’s shops extend opening hours up to 8pm.

The town is providing two hours free parking for everyone visiting too.

Ryan said: “‘I’m donating my time for free to try and encourage people to go late night shopping. I want to help support local businesses and hopefully spread lots of festive cheer in the town. After the year we have all had we really need it”

Malton born Ryan Swain is well known for his work entertaining people during lockdown with his popular live Play Your Cards Right daily gameshow on Instagram.

He has appeared on TV and Radio and he also won an award at the the National Choice Awards ceremony in London.
