The production company that makes blockbuster royal hit The Crown will be filming at York Minster next week.
Left Bank Pictures is setting up the shoot on Monday (17 April) and will be at the Minster through till Friday.
The production company, based at the famous Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, is behind Netflix favourite The Crown.
Filming of the sixth and final season has begun, with a possible release date in November this year.
But it hasn’t yet been confirmed what Left Bank is filming at the Minster.
Other shows by the Sony-controlled company include a new six-part drama series Insomnia for Paramount+ and The F**k it Bucket, Netflix’s latest big UK young adult show.
Less regularly, it shoots movies, including 2019 Miss World drama Misbehaviour, starring Keira Knightley.
According to a letter from Left Bank Pictures, the filming will take place within and outside York Minster.
Producers will begin prepping the interior of the Minster on Monday, starting at 6.30am.
Then the shoot will take place all day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with the set being deconstructed for most of Friday.
As a result, York Minster is closed for visitors from Monday to Friday.
The letter says: “Our technical vehicles will be parked along Duncombe Place and Minster Yard. There will also be various machines situated around York Minster.
“While we will endeavour to keep disruption to an absolute minimum, we know our presence can present some difficulties.
“Our Locations and Security teams will be on set to assist wherever possible.

“Access to homes and businesses will be prioritised though there might be a short delay if a scene is in progress or to ensure your safety.”
York Minster has starred on the screen several times in recent years. It was used as a location for Bill, a comedy film starring the cast of BBC TV’s Horrible Histories, in 2014.
That same year, scenes for BBC adaptation Jonathan Strange And Mr Norrell were shot in the cathedral.
Cate Blanchett brought her interpretation of the Virgin Queen to the Minster for 1998 movie Elizabeth, while Jenna Coleman was Victoria in the ITV series which had scenes shot at what was then the Minster School. More recently, filming for Gentleman Jack took place close to the Minster.
Season six of The Crown stars Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Elizabeth Debicki as Diana, Olivia Williams as Camilla, Ed McVey as Prince William and Meg Bellamy as Kate.
