The A64 has fully reopened after the serious crash near York early this morning (Monday).
The road was closed around Bilbrough Top between the A659 (Tadcaster) and the A1237 near York after the collision just before 1.20am.
A man aged 18 sadly died at the scene. The closure was to allow investigations to take place.

The westbound carriageway reopened at 3pm.
Then, at 9.12pm, North Yorkshire Police said: “The A64 has now fully re-opened following a serious collision which took place in the early hours of this morning.”
