Two more officers were guarding the back. Police were conducting house-to-house inquiries.
Witness Matt Williamson told Minster FM:
“As I was leaving work and heading home there were several police cars.
“A colleague of mine who had just come back from the shop said there were armed response police officers.

“When I was heading back into my property, a very low-flying air ambulance was heading over near the scene.
“There was a parked paramedic down near the bottom of Leeman Road as well.
“Whilst at work I’ve heard several vehicles with their sirens on.”
