A delicious new addition is coming to Spark in York.
If you’re looking for a tempting sweet treat this autumn and winter, then look no further than this new pop-up coming to Spark from this week.
The Waffle Dog Co will be bringing warming desserts and waffles to the unique York venue from Friday 1 November to Sunday 29 December 2024.
The hot desserts will either be a tub of stewed apple or brownie topped with an array of tasty toppings, or the same toppings on two (or three!) waffle dogs.
Flavours include the ‘Apple Bottom’, which is stewed apples, golden crumbs, cinnamon sugar dust and vanilla custard; or the ‘Boba Cocoa’, which is brownie, cocoa cream, black cherry puree, and popping berry boba.
Prices for these delicious desserts start from £6.
The new sweet venture is by the same people behind Vovó Cantina, the Latin grill kitchen that’s also based in Spark.
Jason King, director of Vovó Cantina and The Waffle Dog Co, said: “At The Waffle Dog Co, our desserts have been lovingly crafted to furnish this beloved season, each bite inviting warmth, sweet spice, and a sense of comforting satisfaction that lingers long after the last crumb.”
The pop-up aims to bring “warmth and festive cheer” to Spark this winter.
