It’s the show that has everyone talking.
The final of the third series of Love Island on Monday night (July 24) gained the highest ever ratings for ITV2 as 2.43m viewers tuned in to see Kem and Amber crowned as the winning couple.
Now York is abuzz with the news that one half of the winning duo, Essex barber Kem Cetinay, 21, is heading our way this autumn.
City nightspot Kuda has announced that Kem will appear as part of its regular Candy Shop night on Friday, October 6.
And Kem’s big mate in the Mallorca villa, Chris Hughes, is coming to the Clifford Street bar and club three weeks earlier, on September 15.
What about the girls?

But what about the girls? There may be more news coming, as the club’s Facebook page teased: “Announcement: we may have some more Love Island news! #herecomethegirls”.
The news of Kem and Chris sparked a frenzy of excitement in the comments…
‘I’ll never ask for anything again if you say yes’
‘Holy moly Kem is during term’
‘OMG I’M SO SHOOK, book these nights off work lads’
‘So you go on Love Island and end up in kuda smart move there lads’
‘I don’t care how embarrassing we’re going’
It follows the appearance of Love Island contestant Dom Lever as host of the club’s Candy Shop night last Friday (July 21).
The announcement of the bookings seemed to overshadow the other celebrity coming to Kuda.
EastEnders star Jake Wood, aka Max Branning in the soap, is booked for August 5.
