These passengers in York Station were not going anywhere in a hurry this morning.

A trespasser on the railway at Leeds caused chaos on the network.

Train operator LNER stated:

  • A trespasser on the railway at Leeds is causing disruption at this station.

All lines are currently blocked and trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 160 minutes or revised.

Customers are advised to delay travelling until later today if possible. Please ensure you check before travelling.

Major disruption is expected until at least 12:00.
