Established local professional photographer and educator Paula Duck announces the launch of a new twice weekly interactive walking tour that uses the backdrop of the historic city to teach you how to take better photos.
The walks start on Friday November 26th and will run on Wednesday and Fridays each week. The 3 hour tour starts at the Art Gallery and works its way around York’s popular destinations and some of the secret passageways. Whether you have a DSLR camera or a smart phone Paula will coach you on how to get more from your equipment and show you how to look at the everyday in a creative way.
The tours are supported by Visit York and advance tickets are required with easy booking through Eventbrite. They cost £45 and under 16s £15 when accompanied by a paying adult.
Paula says
“Its been a mission of mine for ages to get these photo walks going, I absolutely love this city, so much beauty and it has so many subjects that can make amazing photos, being able to pass on my knowledge, and sharing my love of photography with the residents and tourists who come to enjoy it is a dream come true…”
