Weekly update, to 17 June 2022: Three more coronavirus deaths in York

Another 299 coronavirus cases were reported in York this week (to Friday, 17 June) – down from 322 last week.
That takes the cumulative case total to 66,488 – giving an overall infection rate of 31,509.1 cases per 100,000 people.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 141.7 new cases per 100,000 people (204 cases). It was 96.7 last week.
The English national average is 113.9, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 90.9.
There have been three coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area in the last seven days (up two). The total number of deaths in the city is 492.
