Wednesday update: One more coronavirus case in York

There was one more coronavirus case confirmed in York today (Wednesday, 15 July).

That takes the total to 911, giving an infection rate of 434.0 cases per 100,000 people.

In North Yorkshire there were three new cases, taking the total to 2,536 – an infection rate of 412.7 cases per 100K.

There are 135 cases in Ryedale (no change), 318 in Selby (up one), 706 in Harrogate (up one) and 561 in Scarborough (no change).

There were no further Covid-19 related deaths reported within York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust either today – leaving the total at 214

The total includes 134 in York Hospital and 80 in Scarborough.
