That takes the cumulative case total to 21,151 – giving an overall infection rate of 10,023.6 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 396 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – down 123 (-23.7%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 202.8 new cases per 100,000 people (428 cases in the week to 11 September). That’s down from 268.2 in the previous seven days (566 cases in the week to 4 September).
The English national average is 308.3, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 361.8.
There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and one in the last seven days (as at 15 September).
