Wednesday update: More coronavirus cases reported in York

There have been four more confirmed coronavirus cases in York reported today (Wednesday, 22 July).

That takes the total figure to 916, which gives a total infection rate of 436.4 cases per 100,000 people.

In North Yorkshire there was one more case, taking the total 2,545 – an infection rate of 414.2 cases per 100K.

There are 135 cases in Ryedale (no change), 320 in Selby (up one), 710 in Harrogate (no change) and 561 in Scarborough (no change).

There are no more coronavirus related deaths reported by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust – the total remains at 214.

The total includes 134 in York Hospital and 80 in Scarborough.
