Two more weather warnings in place

The Met Office have two more weather warnings for our area.

Tomorrow (Friday) there’s a yellow warning of ice from 8am to 10am.

Forecasters say “rain, sleet and snow will die out, leaving a risk of icy surfaces and difficult travel conditions”.

And on Saturday there’s a yellow warning for snow and ice from 3am to 9pm, covering a large chunk of Scotland and northern England.

“A band of heavy snow may lead to travel disruption,” the Met Office says.
