Another 24 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Tuesday, 14 September).
That takes the cumulative case total to 21,097 – giving an overall infection rate of 9,998 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 412 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – down 127 (-23.6%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 212.8 new cases per 100,000 people (449 cases in the week to 10 September). That’s down from 267.8 in the previous seven days (565 cases in the week to 3 September).
The English national average is 321.4, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 375.7.
There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and one in the last seven days (as at 14 September).
